Macon County Friends of Animals, Inc. is a charitable corporation, as defined in General Statutes of North Carolina: Statute 55A-1 -40
(4), for the purpose of dealing with animal welfare issues.
Macon County Friends of Animals, Inc. is approved as a charitable non-profit organization, IRS section 501 (c) (3) by the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service.
Our goal is to offer Macon County a state-of-the-art program for caring for the animals of this county. Our county has a serious stray animal
problem, which has a great impact on all of us. Macon County Friends of Animals will strive to offer a solution to a great amount of the animal concerns.
Among the benefits offered by our organization are: spay/neuter program, help for community through veterinary programs, promote county ordinances that improve the welfare of animals, and to engage in other animal welfare issues as needed.
Fund-raisers, community support and donations from caring businesses and individuals who recognize the need for animal welfare operate our organization strictly. Our goals for 2006, 2007 is to build a rescue shelter for the benefit of the animal population in Macon County. All donations are tax deductible. |
